Have you HEARD this song? It’s called “This Girl” by Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners? And it’s a real foot stomper. Easily the best song of the year. I kid you not.
It’s funny, because just this morning on my way to work I was wondering what the official song of the summer was. I had 1) Drake “One Dance” 2) Justin Timberlake “Can’t Stop the Feeling” 3) DJ Snake ft Bipolar Sunshine “The Middle” 4) Mike Pozner “Took a Pill”, and, oh, let’s see, either 5) Calvin Harris “How Deep Is Your Love” or Zayn Malik still holding on with “Pillow Talk” (technically the song of spring, but I still get tickled when he says the word “reckless” with three syllables. “Reck-uh-less” OMG SO HOT I LOVE YOU ZAYN!)

Anyway.
That’s when “This Girl” came on the radio, and immediately my ears perked up. “What’s this?” I said to myself. “This is new. This is interesting.” After about twenty seconds, I turned it up a bit. Then around the one minute mark – when the bass really kicks – honest to God, I had to pull over to the side of the road. I turned it up again at the second chorus. Then again. And again. Until it was literally as loud as it could go. Like I was some sort of ruffian teenager at a stoplight.
Give it a listen, below. It’s starts off promising enough, but hang on until that one minute mark, and you will DEFINITELY be swept away.
