Lady Gaga Hospitalized in “Severe Physical Pain” – Cancels Rock in Rio

Lady Gaga has been hospitalized for “severe physical pain,” forcing her to cancel her performance at Rock in Rio. The pain has

“impacted her ability to perform.”

A statement said that she was

“under the care of expert medical professionals.”

Gaga took to social media to share the news and offer apologies to fans for cancelling. She suffers from fibromyalgia (you’ve seen the ads for medication) which can result in fatigue and severe muscle pain. Her upcoming Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, offers insights into her struggles with chronic pain.

I was taken to the hospital, it is not simply hip pain or wear and tear from the road, I am in severe pain. But am in good hands w/ the very best doctors.
