Back in the 1940s, when Stanley Kubrick was a poor kid from the Bronx working as a photojournalist for Look magazine (the youngest staff photographer in the mag’s history), he shot almost 10,000 black-and-white pictures in and around New York City, oftentimes surreptitiously with his camera peeking out of a hole in a paper bag. Now VandM in partnership with the Museum of the City of New York is making 25 of those photos available in limited editions to buy for the first time. Most of the proceeds will go to the Museum of the City of New York. Here are two WOW Reportish examples to whet your appetite.
