Get ready LA, because wowlebrity Ryan Heffington is serving up a feast of epic proportions with his upcoming dance performance, KTCHN.
You may recognize Ryan as the heel-clad, ponytailed choreographer who whipped into shape the top Drag Race queens from seasons 1-3 for their fabulous finale dance number challenges.
He’s also one of those few incredible people you come across who has created and cultivated his own culture, touching and inspiring countless artists, dancers, queers and even the rhythm-deficient, who have adopted his free-spirited and high-energy world as their chosen family.
His current project, KTCHN, “is a performance installation that will feature the best of LA’s arts and dance scene, one-of-a-kind costumes, and larger-than-life set pieces. Thematically, the show will explore celebrity culture, human loneliness, public versus private image, and new elements of drag and queer culture.” (via Opening Ceremony).
Friday, May 3, hosts its VIP World Premiere @ Mack Sennett Studios in Silverlake, complete with an open bar, food truck, DJ dance party, limited edition artwork, and more! The show continues each weekend through May 19.
