I have a theory about Kristen Stewart. I think she’s our generation’s Greta Garbo: sulky, morose, monotone, slightly dykey, looks awkward in a ball gown. I think in about 10 years she’s going to abandon Hollywood and then, forever after, people are going to catch glimpses of her on the streets of Paris or Berlin and feel nostalgic for this time. And when she’s old and wrinkled, they’ll say to their grandchildren “But you should have seen her as Bella!” Now, I’m sure you’re saying to yourself “But Garbo was magical/ beautiful/ luminous/ whatever”… but I have a feeling if you were alive in the 1930s she would have driven you CRAZY.
