Austria-born, Berlin-based Candy Ken (born Jacob Kasimir) gets the Terry Richardson treatment, wearing an assortment of Hello Kitty stickers, googly-eyed contact lenses, tuff-guy gold grills, (and some rather unsightly razor bumps) in a recent photo shoot. And if you don’t know who Candy Ken is, well….

The self-described performance artist/rapper, who earlier this year caught the eye of Jeremy Scott and was taken under the wing of Nicola Formichetti, uses his body, fashion, and music in an attempt to shatter stereotypes and inspire, rather than provoke.

“I look like this normal, crazy gym guy and I don’t want to look like that,” he told an interviewer back in February. “I love combining muscles and Hello Kitty, being white and wearing grillz—doing things that aren’t supposed to go together. I love Hello Kitty and it looks good on a boy.”
