The National Rifle Association went on a tasteless, Trump-like Twitter rampage this afternoon, trolling Kim Kardashian about her position on gun control after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris last night.
According to HuffPo:
The tweets appear to be in response to Kardashian West’s criticism of the U.S. Senate for failing to bolster background checks in June after a shooter left 49 people dead at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
Check out their rampant assholery below.
Wait, criminals held @KimKardashian at gunpoint in Paris? How is that possible? Does anyone know if they passed a background check first?

It’s shocking that these criminals did not subject themselves to Paris’ strict #guncontrol laws before committing this awful crime.

Stronger gun laws… like the ones they have in Paris? #askingforafriend https://t.co/xHUhViDtpN

They then essentially doubled down on their trolling when they were called out on it.
Wrong. #NRA expresses concern, as well as confusion that criminals in Paris were armed in the first place. https://t.co/PUGu2f8qD7

.@Everytown… Wait, are you saying criminals don’t follow current laws? That can’t be true.
— NRA (@NRA) October 3, 2016
No, #NRA expresses confusion about how this happened. Guns aren’t really allowed in Paris, so…. https://t.co/okd5JDowrU

We just think criminals should stop breaking the law.
Oh wait. https://t.co/5UXjXpwdtz
