The old woman at the end of the episode with Ben, is that possibly Faraday’s mother? Daniel told Desmond to go to Oxford and talk to his mother. Could that be her? Is Faraday also time traveling since we see him in the beginning with the Dharma peeps digging in that cave? It now seems he has a much larger role in the grand scheme of things. Yes? No? Maybe so? I thought that too. And after this past week’s episode, I came to another realization. Right when Faraday is being escorted to disarm the hydrogen bomb he says to the girl pointing the gun at him, “You look very familiar.” Could that be Faraday’s mother? That would explain this struggle for power between Whitmore, who obviously has issues and wants to control everything, and this girl. Is this where it stems? I don’t know, but I think so.
I don’t know if Faraday is time traveling per se. I think he might just be doing that mind thing that he does. And yes, it appears he is a more central character then I initially thought. Either way, I think the dude is way tight. Tells Richard he loves that girl right in front of her, modern day Romeo.
