Now that escrow has closed on Brad Pitt’s and Jennifer Aniston’s $24-plus million five-bedroom, eight-bathroom, 11,000-square-foot Beverly Hills house, they can put it behind them. Aniston is now living under the false impression that she’s a movie star (and it’s so exhausting to see her make movie after movie chasing that idea). Pitt, already a movie star, isn’t doing as well as expected, currently living in a 1970s high-rise in a “deprived area” of Paris. They say love conquers all and, yes, he does have his beloved Angelina and the kids, but neighbors and area waiters seem to think he’s miserable. “Brad came over here to get away from it all,” says Ahmed Shrir, a cafe worker who serves Pitt frequently. “He finds Angelina very demanding and doesn’t seem to be very happy with the way their lives are going.” A building resident, Mohamed Dhabi, says,”I’ve heard Brad grumbling as they go out in the morning with their children, and I know he’d like to live somewhere a lot nicer. The plumbing in this building is very bad and sometimes you get a sickly, cabbage-like smell filling the entire place.”
