Mama Ru, are you sitting down…?
One of the biggest changes to daily syndicated television since Oprah ended her show is coming. After 25 years Judge Judy is ending its run.
Sheindlin is paid $47 million per year to sit behind that bench, making her one of the highest-paid stars on any TV show. The show is a ratings hit, leading many local television stations which carry it to lead-in to their early evening newscasts.
But wait, is Sheindlin retiring at 77? No ma’am, she plans to launch a new show called Judy Justice.
Sheindlin reportedly told Ellen DeGeneres that fans will be able to watch another full year of Judge Judy episodes before it goes to reruns.
Stay tuned! In the meantime, here’s why only JUDY CAN JUDGE.
