The original season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is coming back to TV on Monday, September 30! (Applause! Shrieks of joy! Gasps!) Bounce/rap superstar Big Freedia has her own reality series debuting on Fuse on October 2. (Snaps!) And Daniel Radcliffe is starring in the dishy, dramatic, and already award-winning film Kill Your Darlings, playing the legendary and trippy beat poet Allen Ginsberg, who was both gay and involved in a messy murder back in the 1940s. (Impressive. Maybe he invented multi-tasking?) What do these three fab things have in common? THEY’RE ALL BASED ON A TRUE STORY. And also… I’m talking about them all in this week’s installment of #JohnPollySays. WATCH and discover how similar Nina Flowers, Bebe Zahara Benet, Jack Kerouac, and trans Bounce music pioneer Katey Red actually are, all cut from the same cloth. Or at least the same foam ass pads. Because, really… That fine line dividing “Azz Everywhere,” HOWL, and Tammie Brown is truly a very fine one indeed.
