Legendary Dame Joan Collins, 83 years young, dazzled on the red carpet at the London premiere of her new movie The Time of Their Lives, outshining many of the stars a third of her age.
Joan posed and preened, eagerly soaking up the flashbulbs, in a silver biased-cut gown with a “perilous” slit and an intricately embroidered bolero jacket that “ensured the dress was age-appropriate.”
From the Daily Mail:
Joan soared to fame in 1951 in Lady Godiva Rides Again before finding global prominence in 1981 TV show Dynasty playing Alexis Carrington – with her wicked putdowns and sensational style making her a true star.
Nearly seven decades since her first taste of fame, the London born beauty proves she still reigns supreme in the style stakes as she slipped into the dazzling silver gown which showed off her incredible figure.
Also walking the red carpet: Joan’s co-star Pauline Collins, the film’s romantic lead Andres Velencoso, sun-kissed designer Valentino, and Elizabeth Hurley with her 14-year-old (!) model son, Damien,
Says IMDB of The Time of Their Lives:
A former Hollywood star enlists the help of a new friend in order to journey from London to France for her ex-lover’s funeral, with the various mishaps en route making the trip unforgettable.
So far, there is still no date for a US opening.
