Jared Leto Is Having a (Lady) Moment

On the left, here with his beautiful mother, Constance, at the New York Film Critics awards and on the right, yes, with HER. With his nominated and acclaimed role of Rayon in Dallas Buyer’ Club, Mr. Leto is indeed having an extended moment. You gotta love him doing things on his own terms, literally being a rock star and then this performance, after 6 years hiatus from acting. He’s going by the early Johnny Depp playbook, a bit – we’ll see if he starts doing crap block busters… kinda doubt it. At a luncheon for Buyers Club, Minelli had nothing but praise for the film and Leto’s performance. But Liza saved the best for last, saying to Leto’s co-star Matthew McConaughey, “If you don’t win the Academy Award, I’m giving you mine!” I think that’s an indication that he just might not – but I’ll bet you that Leto does.
