On a sunny day in 1992 in Palo Alto, California, 14 year-old Ted Franco egged a house. The home belonged to the parents of Bureau of Trade (a curated digital marketplace) founder Michael Phillips Moskowitz. That boy would later change his name to James and go on to co-host the Oscars and, among other things, to star on the soap opera General Hospital as a serial killer named “Franco.” The letter that little Ted wrote after he was caught has recently resurfaced. It reads like a heartfelt expression of how sorry young James Franco was; “I hope we can just forget all this and put it behind us.” I’m still waiting for the apology for Your Highness, Ted.
