Jacob Anthony Chansley, 33, aka Jake Angeli, a longtime QAnon supporter has been arrested and charged.
Chansley was taken into custody Saturday, the attorney’s office said in a press release. Chansley is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
He’s been seen in multiple photos shirtless with red, white and blue makeup, wearing horns and fur and holding a flag, carrying a six-foot spear with an American flag tied below the blade.
He’s not hard to spot.
He told authorities that he traveled to the capital with a group from Arizona,
“at the request of the President that all ‘patriots’ come to D.C.”
In an interview with NBC News before his arrest Chansley compared himself to Gandhi and Martin Luther King.
“What I was doing was civil disobedience.
I didn’t do anything wrong. I walked through an open door…
“The fact that we had a bunch of our traitors in office hunker down, put on their gas masks and retreat into their underground bunker, I consider that a win.”
I guess you’ll see how much of a win it is when you get your day in court…
Meet Jacob Chansley aka Jake Angeli. He is the domestic terrorist wanted by the FBI.— ʍɐןʇǝɹ ɯɐsʇǝɹsou (@waltermasterson) January 7, 2021
The right is trying to claim he is ANTIFA, but I have an interview showing him to be Q-Anon.
