According to CNN, police are investigating a death at the estate of superstar Prince in Carvery County, Minnesota, according to Carver County Sheriff spokesman Jason Kamerud.

“We are not releasing any information regarding the identity of the person who died until next of kin is notified.”

Billboard and TMZ are both reporting that Prince has died.

UPDATE: His publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, confirmed the news to the Associated Press. Sadly, Prince is dead.
