TMZ is reporting that Charlie Sheen is set to appear on NBC‘s Today Show tomorrow morning, with a
“revealing personal announcement.”
Many people believe that it may be related to the National Enquirer’s claim that he is HIV-positive. Network sources supposedly confirmed to TMZ that Sheen will come out with the diagnosis he has allegedly kept secret for years. TMZ & the National Enquirer. Hmmm, not THE most reliable of sources but they don’t like lawsuits either.
Hollywood publicist and crisis manager Howard Bragman told People magazine that he was approached by individuals close to Sheen to deal with his situation. Bragman said of Sheen’s condition.
“I’ve known about this a long time, it’s not a surprise to me. I feel very sorry for his pain. And I hope it’s used as a teachable moment for the world. This is a disease that can affect anyone.”
Bragman added Sheen “is getting treatment, and a lot of people in his life know about it. It’s been going on for quite awhile. He’s not necessarily comfortable talking about it. It was very hard to get up the courage for him to talk about it.”
I guess, we shall see tomorrow morning. (Photo, Pacific Coast News; via TMZ)
