Melania told ABC News that personal attacks on her inspired her to launch the Be Best anti-bullying initiative. In an interview taped during her recent tour of Africa (in that ridiculous outfit) she said,
“I could say that I’m the most bullied person in the world. One of them – if you really see what people are saying about me.
That’s why ‘Be Best’ is focusing on online behavior and social media. We need to educate the children [about] social, emotional behavior.”
FLOTUS has made anti-cyberbullying her mission, but many have questioned the choice of subject, given her husband’s habit of insulting EVERYONE on Twitter.
(PRO-TIP: If you want to steer clear of ridicule, maybe don’t dress like you’re going to an “Indiana Jones” themed costume party when on an official visit…)
Being Melania – The First Lady, airs tonight at 10PM on ABC.
I’ll be watching the new season of Schitt’s Creek on Netflix.
