A group of actors move to LA to make it big, but end up working as caterers. Age-old story and like a police precinct or hospital, a goldmine for silliness.
Party Down was produced for Starz in 2009-2010 and it recently popped up in my Hulu cue. It ran for two seasons and I say it’s a consistently funny show with good writing and a GREAT cast. It stars Adam Scott, Lizzie Kaplan, Ken Marino, Jane Lynch, Megan Mullaly and more and features cameos by tons of Hollywood stars. It’s worth a look if you want to binge out and laugh.
