What the actual eff. This is some of the craziest cosplay I’ve ever seen. Check out this giant Raven outfit from illustrator and video game artist Rah-Bop. Not Raven the drag queen (although I’ve seen some pretty spooky looks from HER). This is a giant black bird inspired by one of Rah-Bop’s Dungeon & Dragons’ game characters, Rue.
Via Bored Panda:
The impressive handcrafted costume is made for Anthrocon – the world’s largest convention for those fascinated with anthropomorphics (humanlike animal characters). The organisers say: “humanlike animal characters have fascinated mankind since the dawn of human imagination,” and we couldn’t agree more while looking at this amazing piece.
Says Rah-Bop:
Since I get the impression it’s acceptable to dress up as an animal person at AC I took the opportunity to make a costume out of Rue, my D&D character, which I’ve been wanting to do for a while. If you see me, please feel free to say hi.
How much do you NEED this outfit? I would literally wear this out EVERYWHERE. To the club, to the grocery store, the DMV, just lurking around my neighborhood at night… It’s PERFECTION.
