That’s life in prison he’s haunted by, not turning his friend into a vegetable. “There are moments that haunt me to this day,” he says of his less than six months in jail a year ago. “There are times when I’ll be watching a prison movie and hear the sound of a gate slamming, and I get the willies. It was horrible. Jail was definitely one of the worst experiences of my life.” Again, turning his friend into a vegetable with a hole in his head not at the top of his worst experiences list.
