Canadian Hotties: Justin Trudeau, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, and William Avery “Billy” Bishop (1894-1956). Bishop was a famous , much decorated, WW I Flying Ace* from Canada. He is officially credited with 72 victories, although there were probably more, making him the top Canadian Flying Ace, and but maybe, the top Flying Ace of the British Empire. Bishop’s life was depicted in the Broadway musical, Billy Bishop Goes To War (1980) and the documentary film The Kid Who Couldn’t Miss (1982). He certainly was a hottie.
* A Flying Ace is a term for a military aviator credited with shooting down five or more enemy aircraft during aerial combat. Just a few Flying Aces among combat aviators have historically accounted for the majority of air-to-air victories in WW I and WW II.
