Our friend Robert, who’s taken to calling himself Mr Pussypants, has a whole storage-facility’s worth of fascinating videos from the ’70s and ’80s, a lot of which we’ve already posted on the WOW Report. But there’s a moving one we’ve just discovered that’s haunting us. It’s the legendary underground actress Tally Brown, who died in 1989, singing David Bowie’s “Heroes.” If you’ve never heard a song performed cabaret style – just singer and piano player – it’s really something. Sure beats that mush they force-feed you these days during the act-3 montages on Grey’s Anatomy and every other TV drama. Take a table, order a drink.
