Heli-loggers, World of Wonder’s new 10-part docuseries on selective logging and the men who do it, premieres Thursday, February 5, on TLC. Each hourlong episode follows a team of Canadian loggers who use helicopters to fly into remote forest areas of Vancouver, BC, where regular loggers have no access. Choppers in choppers, you might say. One of the colorful characters in the series is Jim Keys aka The Beast, about whom Heli-loggers story editor Kelly Greaney says, “I love me some Beast. I mean it’s pretty hard not to love a man who removes his ‘tooth’ to go to work. Plus he reminds me of my uncle – except the Beast has more teeth.”
