At the screening of his Borat: Cultural Learnings from America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, Sacha Baron Cohen arrived at the Toronto Film Festival in Borat drag, pulled in an ox-cart by six alleged peasant women – and a pony – ostensibly from his native Kazakhstan. But, almost as if it were the Kazakhstan Film Festival, the projector broke (permanently) 20 minutes into the film and Cohen/Borat had audience members Larry Charles and “some fat man” named Michael Moore field questions from the unruly crowd before they left the theater to fetch torches and run Borat out of the village.
