The Blasphemy Challenge, a joint project of The God Who Wasn’t There director Brian Flemming and cofounder of the atheist site RationalResponders.com Brian Sapient, encourages people to come right out and show they’re not afraid of God by saying out loud such things as “I deny the existence of the Holy Spirit and you should too.” (In Christianity, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the only sin that cannot be forgiven.) But we know God exists because He frequently talks to Pat Robertson. Why, just the other day God told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would cause a “mass killing” late in 2007. “The Lord didn’t say nuclear,” Robertson told his flock on The 700 Club, “but I do believe it will be something like that.” (t/y Beau)
