First, he takes judge Lionel Richie‘s chair after Luke Bryan offers it, then duets with Lionel on “Hello,” to the delight of Ryan Seacrest. For his actual audition once Katy Perry arrives, Gilberto lays into “Proud Mary” as if his life depends on it.
