It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, squirrel-friends! Entertainment Weekly has announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race is about to unveil its first-ever holiday special, RuPaul’s Drag Race: A Green Screen Christmas on Logo! RuPaul will celebrate the holiday season with performances of Christmas classics and original songs from RuPaul’s new holiday album Slay Belles, including duets with Todrick Hall, Big Freedia, Ellis Miah, Michelle Visage, Siedah Garrett, and Markaholic.
As if this wasn’t already festive enough, Drag Race fan-faves including Latrice Royale, Raja, Laganja Estranja, Alyssa Edwards, and Shangela, will also get in the holiday groove to join RuPaul for his new music video “Merry Christmas, Mary,” which features 20(!) drag queens from past seasons of Drag Race.
RuPaul commented to Logo:
“This holiday TV special and new Christmas album Slay Belles are my gifts to all the truly twisted RuPaul’s Drag Race fans around the world, who continue to inspire me with their love for everything sickening and fabulous,” said RuPaul.
