Lane Garrison pleaded guilty this morning to vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence as well as to two other alcohol-related charges. You’ll remember that the Prison Break actor was wired on coke with his blood-alcohol level at a whopping .15 when his Land Rover crashed into a tree in Beverly Hills in December, killing one underage passenger he’d supplied with liquor and injuring two other young riders. Which might seem like gross negligence to the casual observer. “I am guilty, your honor,” he said to the judge. “What’s unusual in this society is he is admitting full responsibility,” said one of his attorneys. “That’s a breath of fresh air.” Garrison’s fresh air, however, might be severely limited if the judge decides on the maximum six years, eight months at his sentencing August 2. But, like Paris Hilton, who is represented by Garrison’s other lawyer, his jail time could be reduced by half for good behavior. (People)
