Bad Bunny is making out with Gael García Bernal!? Si.

García Bernal is the flamboyant wrestler, Cassandro in the film of the same name. The movie’s synopsis reads,

Saúl Armendáriz, a gay amateur wrestler from El Paso, rises to international stardom after he creates the ‘exotico’ character Cassandro, the ‘Liberace of Lucha Libre.’

In the process, he upends not just the macho wrestling world, but also his own life.”

He went on to become an NWA World Welterweight and UWA World Lightweight Champion.

Bunny debuted his acting skills with Brad Pitt in Bullet Train last year, so this isn’t his first time at the rodeo. But this isn’t the first time at the gay rodeo either. Both of them have made out with other dudes on film… Bunny hads a live VMA moment and Gael was in the classic Y Tu Mamá También.

This is director Roger Ross Williams‘ second foray into Armendáriz’s life, following his 2016 short film The Man Without a Mask.
