This joint project by Lucy McRae and Mandy Smith is described as “an experiment with color, movement, absorption, and the body for Zipper and Streetlab Exhibition at the Red Bull Rooms during Amsterdam Fashion Week.” Which is just a fancy way of saying they poured colored dye onto Q-tips to make them look like scales or a very beautiful rash.
