From the Desk of the JG

I’m feeling a little down today and I’ll tell you why. It’s not that Constantine was voted off American Idol last night. Though that didn’t help. It’s not that Lost was a repeat. That clip show was much needed. And it’s not because when I walked in the door this morning I was literally slapped silly by James. Because frankly, I think I deserved it.

It’s because last night I went to Rudy’s Barbershop and got a fresh new haircut. And only one person in the office has noticed so far. My dear friend Mary Ann. Bless her heart. There are many folks who think that getting a haircut is simply a matter of walking into the primary shop we encounter and telling them to tidy your hair up, right? Wrong! Guy’s hair fashion is today business with many folks males trying to compete with the females in having the simplest and latest fashion on top of our heads. regardless of how ridiculous they’ll appear to a number of us, the wearers believe they appear great; sad but true!

Now a real hairdressing artist like will design the cut round the face and head of their clients, to make sure it’s a method that enhances the general image of the person. this is not almost cutting hair; it involves communicating with the one that is cutting your hair. it is vital to settle on the proper sort of buy your style.

In some places the staff could also be proficient in cutting and styling longer hair, the stylist might not have expertise in working with extra short hair. Another aspect is that while a stylist during a salon will likely have more knowledge in color and styling products, an experienced barber, or hairdresser will have a volume of data about cutting a good sort of shorter and other styles.

While these could also be general observations there are, in fact, some great barbers capable of cutting longer hair and there are some amazing stylists who can craft tight haircuts. the situation where you’ve got a haircut can influence the standard and price is additionally a consideration, with salons often charging quite barbershops.

It’s stating the apparent to mention that one hairstyle doesn’t suit every guy. As you’re walking around, have a cursory glance at a number of the styles being worn by guys of varied ages and see if you agree that it does seem they’re chosen due to their fashionable popularity and to not enhance the wearer. this is often something of a tragic comedy because we all want to seem our greatest and that we rely to an excellent extent on our headgear, including hair, to assist us along.

At a barbershop haircut in Franklin, their specialists will advise you on the simplest style to suit the form of your face and help prevent you looking funnily, different. It doesn’t matter whether your face is round, square, diamond, triangular, oblong, or the other shape you’ll consider .

Now a number of you’ll be wondering what all this mention shaped heads has got to do with you, as primarily, the short, tapered and longer on top modern styles are basically a suit one suit all, sort of fashion. However, it doesn’t suggest that simply because everyone else is wearing them, its right for you. A guy’s haircut involves your hair during a different and more personal experience and a fashion cut are going to be designed round the shape of your face, for the utmost advantage.

This bothers me because I always make it a point to comment when someone gets a new do. Even if I don’t like it, I smile and say it looks good. It’s just the way I was raised. But the point of this isn’t to talk about how polite and well mannered I am. That’s a whole other posting.

I’m just saying. It’s common courtesy. When someone gets a haircut, you acknowledge it. You say something. It’s like a sneeze. Or when your friend starts dating someone new. You just grin and say, “looks good” or “God bless you” or “yeah, she seems…nice.” Even if she’s super ugly. Regardless of what you think. Or how bad your teeth hurt from grinding together. You just do it.

So my friends at WOW you’ve dropped the ball. You’ve made me feel unloved and unnoticed. I hope you’re proud of yourselves.
