There’s Almost Human, about a bunch of androids who fight crime in the future. It stars Karl Urban and Lili Taylor and is brought to you by JJ Abrams, so it might be something to keep on your radar. There’s House, The Sequel Rake, starring respected actor Hugh Laurie Greg Kinear as a brilliant doctor defense lawyer whose self-destructive addiction interferes with his work life. Because, hey, it worked for FOX once before. Most intriguing though, is the modern retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, where Ichabod Crane wakes up from the throes of death 250 years in the future to find the world on the brink of destruction, and learns he is humanity’s only hope. I’ll give that one a try.
