The new extended clip for Jurassic World: Dominion takes us back 65 million years…
Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and brings back Jurassic Park‘s original stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.
Shooting began before COVID lockdown and went back into production in the UK after shutting down a month into filming. Universal spent $5+ million for extra on-set safety measures, reports said, including a private medical facility overseeing the cast and crew.
Director Colin Trevorrow told The Hollywood Reporter,
“It is a true ensemble of all of these people, even if they may not be side by side the whole time.
There is just something really exhilarating, just from a generational standpoint, to be able to put all of these characters into a situation where they are again having to not just survive together, but make sure that we all don’t go extinct just like the dinosaurs.”
Trevorrow has also been overseeing Netflix’s animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous with season 4 coming in December which ties into the film series.
Jurassic World: Dominion isn’t out until June 10, 2022.
