In the crazy opening scene for Lee Pace’s character Cleon on this season’s Foundation, a naked sex romp turns into a fight for his life.
As bad as Cleon’s day is, his paramour Eto (Laura Birn) is having an even worse day. Note, the scene is pretty gruesome if you’re in the middle of a snack.
Pace, who trained for six weeks with stunt coordinator Laurent Demianoff, told EW the grueling unclothed fight scene didn’t bother him:
I was pretty naked. You know, I don’t mind being [naked]. It’s a crowded set of people, so I’m not gonna be obnoxious about it. But also, I’m not gonna go through a whole thing of slipping on shorts between every take. I was definitely wearing something, but it’s not a big deal. It’s just a body. That’s my feeling about it.”
