Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Barbie stars Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling as Barbie & Ken.

The first glimpses of the famous couple shows Robbie as Barbie in her hot pink Corvette and Gosling, as Ken with platinum blonde hair, faux tan, and abs, in a denim jacket with cut-off sleeves and matching stone-washed jeans.

And the final touch; a pair of tighty-whities that are branded Ken, not Calvin.

Gerwig, and real-life and film partner Noah Baumbach (who co-wrote the screenplay) also cast the likes of Issa Rae, Hari Nef, Simu Liu, and America Ferrera.

Robbie told British Vogue last year,

People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think,

‘I know what that movie is going to be.’

And then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like,

‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t…’ ”

Barbie won’t be out until next summer. But from the looks of Ken, he just might be out before then.
