A new Barbie trailer gives us more tantalizing details about the plot, including a fateful choice presented by Kate McKinnon’s world-weary Barbie who’s endured a grim “makeover” from a child.
McKinnon’s Barbie give Robbie’s Barbie a Matrix-style red pill/blue pill choice. Let’s just say Barbie goes full lesbian for a minute, with Birkenstocks and Indigo Girls!
And the just-announced soundtrack lineup is going to have some bangers: Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FIFTY FIFTY, GAYLE, HAIM, Ice Spice, Kali, KAROL G, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Ryan Gosling, Tame Impala, and The Kid LAROI.
Will Ferrell as the unhinged Mattel executive trying to get Barbie back in her box at all costs.
