Netflix has announced the release date of Hearstopper.
Instead of a trailer, we get a behind-the-scenes look of the cast dropping hints as to what to expect.
To recap; Nick and Charlie agreed at the end of last season to make things official and lesbian couple Tara and Darcy face “unforeseen challenges.”
A press release about the new season says,
With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.”
And in addition to original players, season two introduces newcomers Leila Khan as Higgs student Sahar Zahid, and Nima Taleghani as Truham teacher Mr. Farouk.
Heartstopper premieres August 3.
