Meanwhile People magazine has the exclusive scoop on the celebrity guest judges joining RuPaul on the panel this year, announcing that Vogue cover-girl Gigi Hadid and wise-cracking wowlebrity Nicole Richie are getting in on the Drag Race action.
Joining Hadid and Richie as season 8 guest judges are Marc Jacobs, Vivica A. Fox, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie, supermodel Chanel Iman, humorist siblings David and Amy Sedaris, singer-songwriter Faith Evans, Pitch Perfect‘s Ester Dean, mashup-master Todrick Hall, choreographer Jamal Sims, MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts, and model-actress Tasha Smith (Empire, For Better or Worse).
Once again Ru and Michelle Visage will be reading the queens on a weekly basis, alongside permanent judges Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews.
The Ru-persized 90-minute premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race debuts this March 7 at 9 p.m. on Logo. It’s the 100th episode, and beforehand, Logo is airing a “Runway to 100” marathon of the entire series – including behind-the-scenes insights from former Drag Race competitors – starting March 3 at 7 p.m.
