Before we get into this post, we’d like to protest the use of the word “sunglass” to mean a pair (or more) of sunglasses. There is no singular form of the word, just as there’s no singular noun form of scissors. “Hand me the scissor,” is as annoying for us to hear as Sunglass Hut is for us to see at the mall. A sunglass, by definition, is “a convex lens used to focus the sun’s rays and produce heat, especially for ignition” – the exact opposite of sunglasses. Don’t know about you but we certainly wouldn’t wanna clap two of those over our eyes in the sun.
Whew. That said, we present the Swiss Glamour Camping Kit (and we’re sure “camping” can be defined every whichway here), a joint product of Paul Frank and Urban Decay. It’s got sunglasses. But a sunglass would be handy in a real camping kit. ( via Luxist)
