Last night, some of us went to the WGA Theater in Beverly Hills to see a screening of Finding Neverland, the Johnny Depp biopic about JM Barrie, the man who wrote Peter Pan. Consensus is the pic will shake the Oscar tree. It’s a magnificent, gorgeously photographed and costumed weepie, a feel-good weepie, and if you have any soul at all, you will weep. Adult men in the audience were bawling as if they were women watching Steel Magnolias. Yes, even us. (Watch the trailer)
