Yesterday California passed anti-paparazzi bill 43-13 that would “fine photographers up to $5,000 if they break traffic laws or interfere with the operation of a celebrity’s car.” Paparazzi could also face up to one year in jail, once the law is signed by Governor Schwarzenegger. The video (left) of Kate Moss and her daughter Lila cowering behind luggage carts and ticketing counters as they wait for their van at LAX was one of the key exhibits at the hearing. Usually I have nothing but seething contempt for celebrities who bitch about the misery of fame, but I can totally see where this sort of epilepsy-inducing nuttiness might get annoying. Poor little Lila. (via Racked)
