The Kardashians have attracted a lot of criticism over just about everything they do, but especially lately for the way they’ve handled COVID and parties.
It seems as though the family are still defiant of any backlash. Khloé has just revealed that they’re planning to go ahead with their annual Christmas Eve party.
This year they’ve had family gatherings as well as hung out with people outside the family much to the internet’s dismay.
For Kim‘s 40th, she hired a private jet and flew 40+ friends and family to a private island where they
“danced, rode bikes, swam near whales … and so much more”.
Kim shared the news on Twitter and many were pissed saying she was “tone-deaf” to the suffering of millions.
For Kendall‘s 25th, she had a party for a 100+ and apparently tried to keep it secret with a “no social media” rule. Of course, someone posted a picture of the sign saying no social media on social media.
Khloé defended Kim’s birthday party:
“We did it in the safest way I could imagine someone doing it. It was such a beautiful experience and I want Kim to focus on how beautiful it was and what she did for everybody — I don’t want [the criticism] to overshadow all the greatness that happened.”
In response to Kendall’s party, Kris Jenner said:
“All we can do is live our lives the best way we know how and be responsible and do the right thing. And we’re doing that. And I think, I am very sensitive to what’s going on.
We are very lucky to work in an industry where we get tested once or twice a week.”
Regardless of the industry, everyone in the country should be able to get tested much more than they are able to now. Maybe with a new POTUS it will get easier.
40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter. pic.twitter.com/p98SN0RDZD— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) October 27, 2020
Before COVID, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment. pic.twitter.com/lhzLIdutlZ— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) October 27, 2020
no but kendall jenner really threw a big ass party with all those celebrities without masks in the middle of a pandemic with a “no social media” rule so people wouldn’t find out about it…. pic.twitter.com/RcRSUEBQ5o— ath⁷ (@jeonlvr) November 1, 2020
