The Boyhood star was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd yesterday. Check out the pics after the jump, and read the touching thing he wrote in the block of cement.
Ethan Hawke arrived at the ceremony in a striking burgundy suit with a matchy-matchy tie. He was joined by his Predestination co-star Sarah Snook, who posed alongside him for a few snaps and adjusted his tie before the actual imprint ceremony began. Ethan wrote on the block of cement M.I.R.C.L.E. which probably a nod to his daughters Maya and Indiana, as well as wife Ryan, other daughter Clementine, son Leon and himself Ethan. The first letter of each name spells out MIRCLE. Which isn’t so much “touching” as it is “sweet.” I just wanted you to click on the jump.
Ethan, of course, is up for a Golden Globe in the Best Supporting Actor category this Sunday for his role as dad Mason Evans Sr. in Boyhood.
He also received a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role as the entire cast has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
Still lookin’ good. Of course, one NEVER unbuttons a double-breasted blazer. The effect is just GOD AWFUL. Really, where WERE your handlers?
