Y:The Last Man is arguably the most awesome comic of the last decade. It takes place in the wake of a global catastrophe that wipes out every man on earth except for Yorick Brown and his pet monkey Ampersand. The premise and fall-out are so brilliantly executed, I CANNOT BELIEVE that nobody’s adapted it into a movie or TV series yet. It’s such a no-brainer. Taking matters into his own hands, filmmaker Christian Cardona wrote, directed, and produced his very own fan film called Y: The Last Man Rising, adapting some of the earliest portions of the series.
