Why do the men in these two paintings look shocked and appalled, er, make that disgusted? It has something to do with the artist himself. Take a moment to think about it, then check out the reason after the jump.
Australian artist Tim Patch painted the portraits of John Howard and Kim Beazley WITH HIS PENIS. It must have been an endless nightmare to sit for him (although we do like the resulting canvasses). Having to look at his penis throughout is bad enough, but we’d have insisted he also remove the Chippendale’s hat and bow tie.
