Authorities in Kuwait caught a pigeon trying to smuggle 178 ecstasy pills across the border from Iraq in a teeny-tiny backpack – possibly on its way to a bird rave in the desert. The very bad bird was already being tracked by the authorities when it flew right above the customs building in Kuwait where he was somehow caught and the drugs were confiscated. Apparently, using carrier pigeons as a way to smuggle drugs like cocaine and ecstasy across borders is being used more and more lately due to their ability to fly around 150km without stopping and being able to carry roughly 10 percent of their body weight.
Now, as a side note, some sources are saying the pills were ecstasy while others reporting they were ketamine. Which begs the question: THERE ARE KETAMINE PILLS?
