Seems that Adele & superstar Barbra Streisand met up while in Los Angeles last week to discuss plans for a collaboration. The British superstar, who is currently on the North American leg of her world tour. A source told the Daily Star Sunday,
“This could easily become one of the most important and lucrative collaborations in modern music history. And they are both very much up for it. Despite the huge gulf in age and their different genres, both have said they would love to get together in the studio and record a duets album.
The feeling is that the tracks would most likely be new versions of their own best-known numbers with maybe one or two new songs added to the mix.”
Despite the fact that both stars have crazy schedules, they are both on board to make something happen, similar in style to Lady Gaga’s recent collaboration with Tony Bennett. (via Evening Standard)
