What do you do if you can’t get that major celeb-of-the-moment in the front row of your runway show..?
The next best thing –get drag star/ impersonator Alexis Stone (represented by Voss Management, btw) to make an appearance. Stone appeared at the Diesel show in Milan as Emmy-winning, red hot White Lotus star, Jennifer Coolidge.
Alexis/Jen wowed the crowd and paps with the star’s signature move and expressions. Everyone thought it was really JC.
Besides this bit of trickery, guests were surprised a giant mountain of condoms as a backdrop. Over 200,000 Durex boxes, made a nod to both sex positivity and a coming collaboration with the contraceptive company.
Diesel creative director Glenn Martens said,
Have fun, respect each other, be safe. We like to play at Diesel, and we are serious about it.”
