We are in the throes of updating our Anna Nicole Smith film Dark Roots for UK Channel 4; so much has happened since we first made the film. This afternoon, I got a call from Kaye Rodgers who, as she explained, is a dead-ringer for Anna Nicole. You would imagine that now would be a very busy time for an ANS lookalike, but Kaye isn’t one to throw herself into the tabloid feeding frenzy. “I hope there is some sort of opportunity for me to utilize the beauty I have been blessed with for some good,” she said. The world really could do with a new-model Anna Nicole that doesn’t self-destruct. But does the world care?
